Swimming Lessons

Chloe's swimming lessons were finished today.  Chloe has improved so much in the past year.  She is swimming a lot better, she puts her head under the water, and she jumps in and swims to the side without any help.  Thanks Wilhelmina for taking the time to help Chloe become a better swimmer.  We really do appreciate and she is way more comfortable in the water now.

Mom's first pedicure!

The ladies decided to go out and get their nails done yesterday and since mom is a girl she went along and had her nails done!  She had a great time and said that it was pretty 'cool'!

Haiti from the sky

Mom and dad had the priviledge of flying with MAF yesterday.  They got to see Haiti from the air.  It was quite the experience for them.  They flew from Port au Prince to Jeremie.  It is about 45 minutes each way.  If you were to travel by car this trip would take at least 11 hours JUST to get there.  They had a blast.  Here are some of their pictures of their experience.

Getting ready to board the plane with a group of volunteers travelling from the States.

A great organization that makes life a whole lot faster and easier.
Without them it would take missionaries and volunteers hours to get from one place to the next.
Thank you so much for the work that you do!

A look at Toussaint Louverture International Airport in Port au Prince.

The plane they flew on: the caravan.
Views from the airplane:

Imagine playing soccer on the edge of this cliff, hope they don't loose to many balls.

Thanks also to John Munsel and Michael Broyles for taking them up and bringing them back safely!

The last couple of days!

Dad and I finished a lot of the work that the team were not able to complete.  The depot is organized and ready for the
next team that is coming.  Cabinets doors are hung, curtains up and the roof cleaned up as well!

Oh the beach.  What a lovely day it was with mom and dad, Cory, Jenn and Noah, Betsy, Daphka and Drake!

Some family pictures!

Lines on the roads in Haiti.  What progress.

Mom and dad playing the Wii, they were actually pretty good.

Three hands, the Father, the Son, and Holy Spirit, holding up the world!

We had to put mom in a cage, she was out of control!

We now have her well protected, not too scared anymore.  We are out for supper at Chicken Fiesta.

Days two and three!

It has been fun showing mom and dad around!  We have enjoyed their stay for far.  They are enjoying the work that we have given them.

Loading up the wood to return to the hardware store.  Sorry Randy the store would not take the wood or the interlock back.

Will wonders never cease, Dad and Cornelius working together!  Got lots of the work today!

Street hockey...yeah!  Dad and Drake!

Mom helping with the dishes and preparing lunch for the children at school.

They are here!

Coming out of the terminal, Dad is telling the helper that he doesn't need help, he's got it!

Chloe and Oma getting their hugs!

It is good to see family again!

Pake getting his hug in from Chloe.

Come on Oma, this way, I will show you to the truck!
