Things have been happening at Adoration!
Over the past couple of weeks many different and exciting events have been happening at Adoration Centre. I will try my best to cover all of them in one big blog.
One of our teachers invited went to a local hospital and invited some nurses to our school to do some medical tests on our students. Each student received a little prick on one of their fingers and the blood was tested for different illnesses. Randy and I showed the students how painful the procedure was going to be.
We recently had a Bible challenge with all the grades. Each grade was given 5 questions to answer about different Bible stories. It was very loud because each class was excited when another class got a correct answer. However it was even more exciting to see the smiles on the faces when the students answered the questions correctly.
A bunch of toys and puzzles were donated from various people in Hamilton, Ontario. The Special Needs Director and the Kindergarten Director spent some time sorting out the toys and sharing them amongst those grades.
Classtrips have been going on for the classes here at Adoration Christian Centre. The Grade 4s went to Double Harest, an organization that has developed a farming community. It has numerous vegatables, chickens and fishes growing on it. The Grade 5 and 6s went downtown to the National Museum, where they learned about the history of their country. The Grades 7 and 8s went to Fort Jacques and the Baptist Mission where they visited a museum and an old fort. The Grades 2 and 3s will be going to the Sugar Cane Museum soon while the Kindergartens, the Special Needs class and the Grade are going to go to a playground.
